About us

The Directorate of Factories & Boilers, Odisha works under the administrative control of Labour & ESI Department, Govt. of Odisha. This Directorate is entrusted with the responsibilities of enforcement of Factories  Act, 1948, Boilers Act, 1923, Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950 and State Rules framed thereunder relating to Safety, Health and Welfare of the industrial workers and safe operation of steam boilers and its components.
